London universities inspire SPF 6th Form students

Published on 29/01/18

Student Benedict Russell reports on the visit and guidance from London universities this January

"Last Friday, the SPF 6th Form had the pleasure of hosting representatives from four esteemed London Universities: Imperial College London, The London School of Economics (LSE), King’s College London, and University College London (UCL).

"The L6th year group received a series of speeches from each university - which lasted around an hour in total. These speeches covered essential topics, such as the application procedure for different courses, the advantages and disadvantages of each university, and the benefits of studying in London as a whole. Many students also took the opportunity to ask questions - e.g. whether a specific university was able to provide a particular course, or what the average entry requirements for each university were.

"The consensus from students, was that it was a wonderful opportunity, which served its purpose in education and stimulating the audience. The SPF greatly looks forward to welcoming these universities again next year."
