Dame B's boys rub shoulders with the professionals at Allianz Park

Published on 23/01/18

Dame Bradbury's boys visited Allianz Park, home of Saracens, for an afternoon of rugby.

On Saturday 20 January, boys from Years 4, 5 & 6 visited Allianz Park to watch Saracens play against Northampton Saints in the Champions Cup.

This was not the only treat of the day, with the boys in Years 4 & 5 also getting the opportunity to play on the pitch prior to the professionals taking centre stage!

With all the boys playing some good rugby, Dame B's held their own against the club sides and registered a number of victories throughout the morning.

After an opportunity to spend their pocket money on souveneirs from the club shop, the Year 6 boys then took to the field to wave the Saracens Banner as the professionals entered onto the field of play.

Despite the rain and cold, the boys had a great day and with Saracens running out comfortable 62-14 victors, the game was topped off nicely.

We were fortunate enough to be spotted by some eagle eyed parents on TV as the game was also broadcast live on BT Sport.
