For students aged 15-16, this intensive one-year IGCSE programme prepares students for A Level studies and beyond.

Programme Highlights

  • Six IGCSE Subjects: fast-track learning in subjects including Mathematics, Science (Triple Award), English Language and a choice of Business or Geography, with optional, additional heritage language courses, providing choice, challenge, and relevance.

  • Non-examined subjects: PSHE and RSE support students in developing skills for happy, healthy and successful personal and work lives as students and as adults. Our extensive Sports and Co-curricular programme offers a wealth of opportunities to develop existing skills to higher levels and try new activities.

  • Expert Careers & Guidance programme.

  • Integrated English Language Support: focused on both general and academic proficiency.

  • University Preparation: early guidance on A Level subject selection and career pathways.

Entry Requirements

  • Age: 15 to 16 years

  • English Proficiency: IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

  • Online Maths test

  • Online English test

  • Standardised online testing,  e.g. verbal reasoning

  • Students achieving the required testing levels will then be invited to interview.

Further A-Level Study

Our one-year IGCSE programme offers a rich and varied curriculum for students aged 15-16, with the aim of preparing students for A Level study at Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form. For students making good academic progress, the 1-year GCSE programme can lead into A Level studies. Applications for the A Level programme are assessed in the second half of the Autumn term.
