Our admissions team is experienced in helping families make the transition from overseas schools. We will help you through the process.
The British Education system covers 14 years starting with Reception, then, Year 1 through to Year 13. Using your child’s date of birth, year group in their current school and current type of school/location, we can help identify the appropriate year group at Stephen Perse Cambridge.
We welcome students to board with us in Year 11, 12 and 13. Year 11 students join our 1-year iGCSE programme in the Senior School and Years 12 and 13 students are taking 2-year A level courses.
The application process is completed online through our admissions portal, using OpenApply. After creating an account, you can make an enquiry, complete an application, or book an event. If you have multiple children, they will all appear within your profile.
You will be able to see the progress of your application, make any necessary payments, and communicate with our team.
Assessments cover:
Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Problem-Solving
English
Maths
English as Another Language (depending on current language proficiency)
Whilst we understand that it is not always possible, we warmly welcome all our students to assess on site. If it is not possible, our entry assessments can be taken whilst you are overseas. We will consider the following arrangements:
At the student’s current school
At a British Council office
With an approved educational agent
If you foresee any difficulties with arranging the assessments, please do let our team know.
