Dame B's netball match reports

An exciting week of netball fixtures for Dame B's provided great competiton in tough weather conditions. Read the match reports below.

On Tuesday 20th February Dame Bradbury's U9 Netball team hosted Cambridge international School. On a very wet afternoon with rain falling constantly the team put in a disciplined display winning the game 7-0. Every player contributed to the victory and stuck to the task despite some very cold hands.

On Tuesday 20th February Dame Bradbury's U10 A and B netball teams hosted SPF Junior School. The matches were played in heavy rain but this did not dampen the girls spirits and both games were of a good quality. The A team put in an excellent performance despite losing 7-4. Player of the game was Alexandra and the goals were shared between Megan and Lily. The B team tried their very best but were comfortably beaten 10-0.

On Wednesday 21st February every girl in Year 5 and 6 from Dame B's travelled to Felsted for four netball matches. Against strong opponents the U11 A and B teams both suffered defeats but learnt a lot from the experience. The U10B played a close match, narrowly losing 7-4 with Rose scoring the goals and Camilla claiming player of the game. The U10A put in the performance of the day winning 15-11. Megan scored 10 goals and was awarded player of the game with Lily scoring the other 5 goals. It was great to see all 43 girls representing the school In competitive sport.
