Stephen Perse in the news during lockdown

Published on 03/07/20

Staff at the Stephen Perse Foundation have regularly been in the news in recent months talking about the digital strategy we embarked on eight years ago to ensure that all students gain the skills and education they need for their future.

Vice Principal Tracy Handford was quoted in the education magazine Independent Education Today in the feature Keep calm and carry on about remote learning and online teaching in lockdown. You can read the piece here (p39).

Executive Director Jenny Neild has written an article, The challenges for independent schools in responding to COVID-19, for the leading schools publication Independent Schools Magazine about schools response to the pandemic closures. You can read Jenny's article on page 32 here.

Finally, our Charitable Foundation Director Heidi Hall was interviewed on BBC Cambridgeshire about how staff and students from across the Foundation have acted with kindness and altruism during the pandemic to benefit the wider community through a great range of activities to raise funds and by making visors and masks.
