Third in the Country: England Hockey Girls U16 Schools Vase 2026
In February our U16 Hockey team secured third place nationally at the finals of the England Hockey Girls U16 Schools Vase at the Nottingham Hockey Centre, a tournament bringing together high-level school teams from across the country.
The team finished in superb style, winning the 3rd/4th playoff 4-1, with goals from Natalie G (x3) and Darcy H. Earlier in the day, goals came from Sylvie G (x2), Darcy H and Freya K.
Congratulations to the whole squad for a superb performance: Orla C, Marissa S, Cecilia F, Felicity L, Elizabeth G, India C, Natalie G, Aoife C-W, Imogen T, Alice E, Yuting W, Kiana S-P, Darcy H, Freya K, Sylvie G and Zoe L.
A brilliant run to the national finals, finishing third in the country and improving on last year’s already impressive fourth place finish. Well done to everyone involved.
